OK, mileage run for real now in a few days! Will be taking Continental from San Jose to Boston via Houston. Return is B (150% EQM) which not only bumps me up to 1K status on United, but also bumps my traveling companion up to Premier Executive!
Only in Boston for about 20 hours, but plan to get some good clam chowder. Still deciding on which Hilton to book, so look for a full write-up next week!
TIP: Booking a “B” fare on Continental’s website books into “M” if it’s operated by United, so make sure your “B” flights are operated by Continental if you are crediting to Mileage Plus to earn that 150% EQM!

Did you take the upgrade on the return B fare? I did the same and converted the B fare to a ZE fare. Any idea if that will still receive the 150% EQM for United MP?
