I managed to get a stay working for a local client for 3 nights.. It was an amazing place and my best hotel stay ever! I'd go back in a heartbeat, but unfortunately it's probably not going to happen anytime soon!

Mark: it priced out nicely to have a B fare on the return, and how fortuitous! Thanks and will report in on when we clear.
Darren: Hotel was due to Continental's fault in not having it's crew in. Interestingly, none of the GAs on arrival knew this, but since I'd called the 1K line to get connected to the OnePass Elite line, they coughed up it being their fault and even 120.20 (though the latter only is usable when there are flights to take!) Unlike LH which has to follow European rules on hotels for all, I think I'd have had to fight for a hotel as a 1K had it been weather only, but not sure.
Maureen: Looks pretty packed for tomorrow, but hoping 1K+B fare will trump a vast majority of other standbyees. Fingers crossed!

I did the same run 27th - 28th but took the 5:15am out of BOS to IAH. Got delayed in IAH for 1.5 hours but made it back it home almost without a hitch. Good luck tomorrow morning.

Nice of Continental to offer up the hotel. Was it because of your 1K status, or was the delay reason not coded as weather? Just curious since I have several upcoming CO flights & I, too, am a 1K.

Yes, the original booking class will apply. If it doesn't post correctly, just email.

Did you take the upgrade on the return B fare? I did the same and converted the B fare to a ZE fare. Any idea if that will still receive the 150% EQM for United MP?

Gunter: I think the majority of folks there were business travelers, and the majority of those business travelers book business class tickets (or get them booked) for work. Did you see a lot of people who don't fly business? I'm quite curious as that wasn't my impression, but I'd love the facts.
