Happy Anniversary to Deals We Like! Exactly 365 days ago I started bogging about my favorite topics – points, miles, travel, deals, and promotions. I remember blogging away in my own little world and getting 50 or so page views (probably 49 of them being my mom)! I was so exciting the first day I hit 3 digits, a bottle of champagne was definitely popped! Fast forward about 6 months and I was having conversations with Randy Peterson about joining BoardingArea. I literally had a smile ear to ear during my phone call with Randy – he was an idol in my mind (him and Larry Bird of course). I remember telling everyone about the famous points and miles guru I had the opportunity to speak to. Most of my friends responded with “who the heck is that!” Clearly they just do not know what they are missing!

While I would love to go into more detail of this past year, the miles and points I’ve earned, the deals I’ve received, the amazing readers I’ve helped, I have a fun anniversary day planned taking me away from my computer. I was so honored when I heard from Randy that they would be putting together an entire American/Hyatt MegaDO just to celebrate my anniversary! How amazing and nice of them! So while most people probably prefer to celebrate an anniversary with their significant other, I’ll be celebrating with my favorite points and miles bloggers: The Points Guy, Points Miles and Martinis, Mommy Points, View from a Wing, Frugal Travel Guy, Miles from Blighty, and Live From a Lounge.
