I just received an email from Delta letting me know that each roundtrip flight out of New York LaGuardia (LGA) to select cities will get a $25 gift card to Amazon.com, iTunes, or Starbucks. You must register by April 28th and fly by July 10th.

The participating city pairs include:

  • Buffalo (BUF)
  • Burlington (BTV)
  • Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW)
  • Greensboro (GSO)
  • Louisville (SDF)
  • Manchester (MHT)
  • Miami (MIA)
  • Norfolk (ORF)
  • Raleigh Durham (RDU)
  • Richmond (RIC)
  • Rochester (ROC)
  • Syracuse (SYR)

The terms of this promotion does state:

Eligibility: Only members who receive this communication directly from Delta Air Lines are eligible to participate in this offer.  This offer is non-transferrable.  To participate in this offer, targeted members must register online before travel by April 25, 2012 (ending 11:59:59 PM, U.S. CDT on 4/25/12).

So while I cannot promise you will be eligible if you did not receive the email, you still might at well register and if you get the $25 then great, if not, no loss! I wouldn’t change my entire travel plans just for a $25 gift card anyways, so this really pertains to those who would be flying these routes anyways. There is also no limit to the number of gift cards you can earn, but you can only select one gift card option upon registering.

Make sure to register here. Also, make sure your flight originates in LGA and is not the destination!

I received this email and registered. I tried to register my wife’s SkyMiles account but said she wasn’t eligible.

Also, I’m flying tomorrow from LGA-DFW and then back on Friday from DFW-LGA so does this work if I purchased my ticket before registering?

Nice offer but not exactly worthy of an exclamation point. It’s fine.

@Mark – ha. Can’t I get excited?! While Delta is not my airline of choice typically, LGA is my typical airport.

  • dealswelike said,

@Divyesh – The terms do not really state, but I believe as long as you register prior to travel it does not matter when you purchased your ticket. This is the norm for most Delta promotions. Let me know the result.
