Last week, US Airways announced a great promotion for those of you who fly their shuttle routes often between Boston, New York, and Washington DC through January 31, 2013.

It is a pretty simple promotion where you will earn 6,000 US Airways bonus miles after you take 3 shuttle flights and an additional 12,000 US Airways bonus miles after another 3 shuttle flights. That means after 6 flight segments, you will earn a total of 18,000 bonus miles!

The good thing about the promotion is that your itinerary does not need to start/finish in one of these three cities, but can include the shuttle route (for example: New York (LGA) to Washington DC (DCA) to Phoenix (PHX)). Only the LGA to DCA segment will count towards the promotion, but that is still one more segment towards the bonus points.

Terms:

  • A maximum of 18,00 bonus miles can be earned in this promotion
  • US Airways shuttle segment is any nonstop flight operated between Washington DC (DCA), New York City (LGA), and Boston (BOS)
  • Bonus miles will not count towards Preferred status
  • Miles can take up to 1-2 weeks to post after you register and complete travel

I know this is a heavily traveled route, so enjoy your bonus miles!
