Through December 3, JetBlue is discounting the base airfare by 50% for all JetBlue Getaway vacation packages. While I personally have never taken advantage of any sort of air + hotel vacation package, I know that some find great value in them while saving money.

The one downside to this is that the travel dates for this special to apply is through December 19, which only gives you a few weeks. Great for those who are looking for a last minute getaway, but nothing to write home about for those planning a family trip in the future.

With any air + hotel package, I highly suggest pricing out the airfare and hotel separately to see if you are actually getting in on a deal. Also, check other airlines or nearby hotels as those could price out even cheaper. The 50% discount does not apply to taxes/fees and with Caribbean travel, for instance, those can be quite high so the discounted amount might not actually allot to too much. But always worth a shot pricing it out and seeing what you can find!
