Groupon is offering $19 parking vouchers at MANY locations in New York City. For an overnight 24 hour period, this is a great deal! Typically you are at $30 minimum + tax. This deal has been offered a few times over this past year (although at a lower rate of $16/voucher) and has provided to be a great offer for many.

The voucher does expire March 31, 2013 and is not valid until January 1st. This is valid at ALL icon parking locations  - 190 of them and you can check them out here. You are allowed to purchase 5 vouchers per account and additional 5 more as gifts. This discounted voucher is not valid for in and out privileges. I personally live away from the tourists areas and am able to park for the day for less than $13, but that requires entering by 11am I believe and retrieving the car by 7pm. This deal is best if used for overnight options. If you are looking for just the day, you might be able to find cheaper depending on where you are looking to park.

There are also many monthly parking options (for new customers only) that truly are a real discount. I’ve been doing street parking for the past 4 years and am always tempted to purchase one of these monthly options for a few months – I’ve done my research and they are truly discounted. The only cheaper option is at the Costco shopping center in Harlem where I believe my car will be parked moving forward (side note, anyone have experience with parking there?).

Groupon says this deal will be available for another 6 days, but with all discounted sites the offer could sell out.
