Book a stay by January 31, 2013 through their “Any Weekend, Anywhere Sale” and save up to 40% off. Now, as we always know with marketed sales, make sure to check other discounted rates (corporate rates, AAA rates, etc.) to see if you can find a cheaper rate elsewhere. I checked a few hotels, and while the rates are discounted, they are non-refundable – so make sure to be sure of your travel plans! I am typically willing to pay a few bucks extra to ensure I can cancel if need be, but that is me!

Without checking every hotel possible, it seems like the following discount will apply:

  • North America: 15% off
  • South America: 15% off
  • Asia: 25% off
  • Australia: 25% off
  • Africa: 33% off
  • Middle East: 33% off
  • Europe: 40% off

Additionally, you’ll receive double stay credit for each stay of at least two nights. This is pretty good to meet your status requirements for the year, especially with the recent non-favorable change of earning status at Hilton (more on this in a post coming soon).

Now, while you can go ahead and book this rate starting now through the end of the month, Hilton will be offering a 24-hour sale (with the same discount) at the end of the week, BUT you’ll receive an additional 2,500 points per stay! This bonus point opportunity will start Wednesday January 16th at 11am EST and last for 24 hours. You will need to register for this promotion on the Hilton Facebook profile, but I will write about those details as they are unveiled within the next few days.

No special code or link is needed to book, but remember, the sale ends at the end of the month,

You mention “No special code or link is needed to book, but remember, the sale ends at the end of the month,” but MUST you book this sale rate in order to gain the x2 stay benefit? I’m guessing yes.

I ask because I can get cheaper rates otherwise (MVP, gov rate, etc. [yes, I'm gov employee, no "line" crossed.]).

Yes, you must book this sale rate in order to gain the 2x stay benefit.
