To continue with JetBlue’s Flight week promotion, which I first mentioned yesterday, today’s 80% off discount includes flights from New York JFK to Bermuda, Portland, and Grand Cayman.

While this is an unbelievably cheap way to travel, you have to be extremely flexible as this is really for limited dates over the next week or two. For these specific city pairs you must book by 11:59pm EST and the travel codes are limited, so they could run out earlier than end of day. As mentioned yesterday, the daily travel cities will be announced each day at noon and I’ll be sure to post the city pairs and the codes to be used.

Also remember that the 80% comes off of the base fare, not taxes, so some of the Caribbean flights still have decently high taxes tied to them. For the fun of it, I checked out the flight from JFK to Grand Cayman and it was $150 which is one heck of a deal! While I personally will not be taking advantage of this, I am hoping some of you can. Those with flexible jobs and minimal family obligations could have a great vacation, enjoy!

I just stayed at Westin Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman in November and the beach was amazing. Second best hotel beach on the strip, after the Ritz-Carlton two hotels down. If you can find availability, it’s 12k Starwood points.

I’ve been planning so many trips to the Caribbean and having so much trouble putting together hotel lists that I uploaded a searchable directory of every points hotel in the Caribbean to my webpage under ‘Caribbean Travel’
