You can really work this one for a great deal. You can pick up 5k MQM for around $200! Tinker with the airports and routes from MKE to either LAX or SFO (the other way works too). To see more jump over to FlyerTalk HERE with HT to Coke&Taco! If you are like me using the road to get to MKE we may want to be aware of the I-94 work (any locals want to give us updates on traffic)?
PS – As always, since these deals tend to die fast, don’t think – JUST BOOK – and book lots and maybe a few days back to back and then look at how to make it work! With Delta you have 24 hrs to cancel risk free. I sent out a TEXT ALERT on this one btw! – René

It’s not the most convenient from the west coast, but I booked one of these adjacent to a known east coast trip later in the year
first miles run ever thanks!!
@Katie – This is a great deal for many in the Midwest as I can drive (3hrs) to MKE and many in the are can do the same and do back to back days and pick up 9-10k MQM for about $400! I bet we see a BUNCH of MR’er on these days! Hope to see you on the run – Rene
@Rene- Realized my comment was backwards… I’m on the east coast, so I booked adjacent to a previously planned trip to California… Can’t wait! Hope to meet you at FTU!
@Katie – Great! Will NOT be at FTU but will be at Chicago Seminars in OCT and will speak there. Hope to see you there!
How can we get on the text list?

[...] and will not go away (makes me a happy man)! The price has gone sub-$200 for LAX and there are few open dates still for the 5k run but as you can see below, going to SFO or from MKE will yield you over 5600 [...]
