I got a smile today when I logged in to my SPG account as my first ever Crossover Rewards that I blogged about on the 27th of last month have just posted as you can see above. Some did not think I would get these points as reader RY commented:

“Just a FYI- You wont earn miles/points for any flights or stays that were booked before registering so if you have a flight on the 1st you already paid for, looks like you’re out of luck. – RY”

So good news for all you who DID in fact jump in right away and register. If you have not already done so (and are Medallion or SPG elite), you are missing out on SPG points for each dollar you spend on Delta flights. It is so nice to get more SPG points that I can spend on hotel nights or for every 20,000 SPG I send over to Delta, I end up with 25,000 Skymiles! – René

I thought I would look real quick at some of the most AMAZING deals that are still going strong, but I doubt they will last much longer. I think it is just crazy some of these are still up and running. I just got done booking 2 more days of the killer MKE-LAX MR deal so I should not only make DM this June but by the end of the year will rollover 50k toward my DM status for 2015! So let’s look at the deals that are still going strong:

  • As just talked about 10k MQM, 2 days back to back, under $400 all in HERE
  •  50k Targeted AMEX MR GOLD with just $1000 spend is HERE
  •  I would not wait for the INK 50k cards you can find HERE

These “Tri-Fecta” are just the tops. You will be hard pressed to find much better deals and I have jumped on all of them (other than the AMEX as it is outside my churn window – grrrr)! – René

We were NOT supposed to be able to register for the Crossover promotion until the 1st. You can register at Delta.com (if you qualify) or at SPG.com HERE!

As you can see, it allowed me to put in my Skymiles Platinum number and register early. I then logged in to my SPG account and sure enough it shows I am registered

Then, just a few minuets later, I get a very nice e-mail from Delta saying I am registered also.

The reason you should JUMP on this is if you have a stay or flight on the 1st as it takes up to 48hrs AFTER registration before you get credit! Enjoy – René
