They say Texas has the BEST BBQ in the world (we will just have to see about that). I am looking forward to lunch with some fellow Delta Points & Will Run for Miles readers on Tuesday and you can check the post to where we are going HERE.
I will naturally be paying with my Chase Freedom card as the 5x points they are paying as a bonus now is much better than the standard 2x points my Chase Sapphire card I normally use at restaurants is. For many “chain” restaurants I can still use my INK BOLD and INK PLUS to visit the gift card section and get 5x points that way also!
But on to today’s SWAG. As always, the rules are HERE. Since everything “IS” bigger in Texas, this week’s prize has to be really really big right. I am at last home safe and sound from BAcon or the Boarding Area Convention. Due to some technical issues, I had to delay the Random.org winner for all sorts of fun Saturday SWAG! To make up for this the winner will get a few more goodies like a free GoGo WiFi pass and maybe some more for having to wait so long!

This past Friday, before a PVT BoardingArea conference, I had the amazing privilege of flying with MJ from MJ on travel. As many readers know when I started in college I was going for my pilot’s license. I chose not to follow that but MJ did and flew for American Eagle way back when. What a fun time we had buzzing around Colorado Springs and I think you will see more about the day and some photos on his blog soon (and maybe a few photos here as well)!
But that brings up my question for today’s swag giveaway. What would you like to use points to do for the “first time ever”. I love love love to scuba dive. It had been a while since I “got wet” and Lisa & I had a stupid amount of fun last year in Grand Cayman on points that I mostly got from both of us EACH getting an INK BOLD and an INK PLUS card each last year.

Congratulation Bea. I just love the SPG brand and my SPG card from AMEX. I teased you all with the Presidential suite (I did not get that room) but I did move up from a std room to a king room, club level, with a great view of the airport and slept almost as well as at home (that is saying a ton)! I will have my review soon as well as coverage of the club room.
This is going to be an exciting week with some fascinating info learned along the way of my 15,000 mile run as well as my trip to BAcon that is BoardArea Convention a PVT meeting with my fellow bloggers at the “House of Miles” Randy’s place in Colorado Springs.

I will have a review soon of my stay at the SPG LAX. It was a great stay. I slept well and was 100% recharged for my final two legs of my 12 leg mileage run. I even scored my first battlefield upgrade and the LAX-JFK flight was very very nice and will cover that soon too! But for today, let’s power up again.
On my trip I have used my ANKER ASTRO2 power brick a bunch. I have one more to give away So the rules, as always, are HERE! Then, you need to answer this simple question:

I must say I am impressed how many readers have more than one card. This is so smart. And, when you travel, you wife or other have different cards (i.e. other accounts) than you. If all goes wrong, it is good to be covered.
Also as an update, don’t forget the AMEX Reserve card now is offering BOTH 10k MQM and 10k RDM when you get the card, up from JUST 10k MQM in the past.

In the Essentials Tab, under E14, I have a travel check list with many of the suggestions coming from readers (thanks for the input btw)! As you saw this morning, I missed one forgetting to grab my I-Zoom from my car.
When it comes to travel, having just ONE credit card with you is a very bad idea. Thanks to my US Bank card, with a chip, I was able to get gas at an automated station in Sweden when my Chase Sapphire would not work nor my Delta Reserve AMEX card. (now offering 10,000 MQM + 10,000 Skymiles Bonus “Welcome Offer” with first purchase)!
My wife and I also keep different cards when we travel together so if something really bad happens (like I lose my wallet) we are not on the “same” account that we have to close. I pick 3 cards and then she also picks 3.
So, for today’s SWAG Saturday, you have to answer two questions:
“How many cards do you travel with and what are they?“
