About
My name is Darren Booth and I love to fly. I grew up in suburban Chicago near O’Hare airport, graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a degree in airline management and business and I worked in several departments at United Airlines. I also held various positions at other travel companies that focus on vacation packaging until I eventually left the industry more than a decade ago. Now, I’m a full-time blogger here at FrequentlyFlying.com, as well as freelance as CNBC.com’s Road Warrior editor.
I spend the majority of my free time finding the best deals, planning my next adventure, and flying more than 100,000 miles per year just for the fun of it. I love nothing more than to be at an airport, visit the lounges, board a plane, gaze out the window, and check into a hotel upon arrival. Oh, and rack up the mileage and points, of course.
I welcome your feedback, questions and ideas, and can be reached at darren@frequentlyflying.com. I’ll do my best to reply to any inquiries within 24-hours.
First Class Wishes,
Darren
P.S. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my inspirations for starting this site: Mark Ashley at Upgrade: Travel Better, Matthew Klint at Live & Let’s Fly, Ben Schlappig at One Mile At A Time and everyone at FlyerTalk.
