Put a $100 gift card in your basket and checkout. With an electronic gift card, you should see this:
And then on the checkout screen, you’ll see this:
If you read Frequent Miler much, you know what to do. Working on minimum spend? Go to it! I’ll update this post as this deal progresses.
UPDATE 1:
Thanks to Steelsnow for tipping me off to this deal! Please read the comments to see how people are leveraging it.
Using a bunch of physical gift cards lying around, I just bought a dozen or so $100 e-gift cards. Yes, Target allows you to buy gift cards with gift cards. I have yet to actually receive the e-gift cards though (4:56 PM).
UPDATE 2: 10:39 EST
The deal now appears to be dead. Congratulations to everyone who got in on it in time. Let’s hope Target doesn’t pull a “United Airlines” and cancel our orders!
UPDATE 3: 10:51 PM EST
Reader Jason reports that the Foam Finger gift card still works. I just tried it and found that the physical $100 card does appear to work. You might be able to get e-gift cards to work in lower denominations than $100 (e.g. 4 X $25).

For plastic jungle, you can get $92 but you have to mail in the gift card right?
Thank you! This was a welcome lunchtime surprise.
I bought a physical one, but I fail to see how to gain many miles off this since you need to place separate orders for each $100 card. And as pointed out Plastic Jungle requires the cards be mailed in and not the electronic codes. Am I missing something? Also all the shipping portals specify no extra points on GC’s…
Great find Frequent Miler! Can you buy other gift cards with a Target gift card in store?
Total price comes out to $91.95 with $1.95 shipping included.
I’m a bit disappointed – no free shipping with this one. Also, I’m being charged tax, then, on the shipping.
Comes out to $92.07
Assuming $92 on PlasticJungle, with the 4% from topcashback, and the 1% from my Discover card.
Cost: (92.07)
1% cash back: $0.92
Sale Price: $92
4% TCB: $3.68
Total Gain: $4.53
I can’t find a single portal that gives any sort of reward for Target, so it looks like a relatively small reward, but it’s there nonetheless.
Really good for those looking to hit a minimum spend or to empty Vanilla reloads via AMEX prepaid.
You get a pseudo 5x points this method.
Grant Thomas: Yes, to sell to PJ you need to mail in the physical cards.
Mattolo: Miles are earned simply by adding spend onto your credit card.
I’d sell to ABC gift cards or Cardpool. Plastic Jungle after one initial sale has been a total pain and was told several “untruths” from their CS agents. After sending in receipts of Lowes gcs, Plastic Jungle told me they were not acceptable.
There’s more coming on this one besides meeting credit card spend, I believe FM wants to verify a few things first before passing along additional details that can make this more rewarding….
Key will be how fast electronic gift card or cell phone gift card are received… if this stays open those will be what you want.
Thanks!
I ordered several of these using a US PO box. Thanks!
Just FYI, topcashback does not pay cashback on the purchase of Target gift cards.
Just verified that Cardpool is willing to accept $2,000 worth of Target gc’s at 92% PER WEEK via the bulk selling option.
To save time, create an account during checkout and you can easily reorder gift cards: http://i50.tinypic.com/1zwdzwl.png
My Sapphire card won’t work anymore…loooks like too many transactions? wasn’t even that many!
Discover has 10% cashback at Target, however, Offer does not apply to Target Gift Cards,
personal care, baby care, household items,
e-GiftCards, gift wrap, tax, or shipping and handling charges.
May would work anyway?
Using CardPool’s numbers (I think PlasticJungle offers the same rates, but they require that you have the gift card number in hand to get to the offer screen, and I don’t have a card number yet):
Buy $100 card for $90 (get miles); go through TCB to reach PJ/CP; sell to PJ/CP.
Electronic card sold for cash: $87, plus (if you get it) $3.48 from TCB: net $0.48 plus miles.
Electronic card sold for Amazon credit: AMZN$91.35, plus (if you get it) $3.65 from TCB: net $5.00 plus miles.
Physical card sold for cash: $92, plus (if you get it) $3.68 from TCB: net $5.68 plus miles, less postage.
Physical card sold for Amazon credit: AMZN$96.60, plus (if you get it) $3.86 from TCB: net $10.46 plus miles less postage.
(“if you get it”: not that I’ve done a lot of TCB traffic, but I’ve tried going through them for gift card sales a couple of times, and have yet to see results.)
(I just enjoy doing the math — IMO it’s only marginally worth it, given the hassle of doing it as separate transactions.)
@Steelsnow – Expires tonight at midnight. I don’t think that leaves enough time to churn through e-gift cards.
For anyone wondering, here’s the thought process:
Buy $100 GC for $90.
Use that $100 GC to buy another $100 GC for $90.
At this point, your first GC has $10 on it and your new one has $100 on it. You’ve spent $80.
Rinse, repeat and after a couple churns you’re now making money.
I missed shipping costs for physical cards; otehrs posted while I was composing. Bummer.
anyone know for a fact if we can buy a gift card with a gift card?
@ Michael: You’ve got the picture – it took about an 1 hr 15 minutes for the first e-card to be received here (I passed on word to FM after that loop was completed). If their systems can keep it at that pace we can still make some hay before the clock strikes midnight….
Use ‘em to load (at any Target store) your Amex for Target prepaid cards. Then do whatever you do with those prepaid cards. You have them, right?
@marZ: Yes.
BTW, this works on non-Target GCs which qualify for 5% off when using your Target RED card.
Gift Card T&C:
“Target GiftCards and Target Mobile Gift Cards can be redeemed for merchandise or services (excluding American Express® and Visa® gift cards and prepaid cards) at Target stores in the U.S. or Target.com. Target eGiftCards can be redeemed for merchandise at Target.com only. Target GiftCards, Target Mobile Gift Cards , and Target eGiftCards cannot be redeemed for cash or credit except where required by law.”
How long does it typically take PJ to payout?
ooo, now THIS has the potential to be exciting…will the deal be good through tonight i wonder???
Plastic Jungle is offering 96.6% back and TCB offers 9.5% for target (unless it doesn’t include GC). Target is charging shipping and taxes. My total for one card came out to $92.09. But if the other returns are true, you can make money and meet minimum spend.
I sent a $5 ecode to my cell phone, so I will see how long it takes and if it works on plastic cards… 1:42PM
Also, can e-gift cards be used in store? I assume yes, and I know it’s a silly question…but just want to be 100% sure…
They don’t have GC’s for anything good, besides target
Can this process be sped up by buying a few $100 e-gift cards at a time?
@steelsnow, problem is that the non-target gc’s (purchased with the Target gc) are not too valuable to resell. Target gc’s are actually pretty valuable to the gc resellers. Not sure I follow the logic of buying non-Target gc’s with Target gc’s.
@carwag25: It isn’t buying non-Target GCs, it is buying new Target GCs. There is some word out there that this may have been closed now but I haven’t gotten my new round of e-cards yet to try. Will update when I receive them (or FM receives them and tries).
@Gabriel: Target e-gift cards are good only at Target.com. However, they can be converted to mobile (phone) gift cards that can be used in store, and in the past a physical Target gift card could be purchased with a Target e-gift card (plus shipping or red card).
I’ve been madly using up a bunch of physical Target gift cards and buying e-gift cards with them. In the process, I’m getting a big bump in value.
slomo: shhhhhhh
TCB is not promising Cardpool will pay cash back if anyone is thinking of going that route.
I got it now. Using Steelsnow method you start with a $90 investment and keep using the purchased electronic GC to buy another electronic GC, thus earning $10 in Target credit for each transaction. Do this 11 total times and you have $200 in GC from your initial $90 investment.
Still this requires multiple transactions and I can’t imagine this will actually work for long (if at all).
@steelsnow… ah, got it. was not aware that was possible.
Refreshing this page every 60 seconds! Might start testing one card.
Anyone find a portal that gives back on gift cards for Target?
Perfect timing for some minimum spend at one of my favorite stores.
I have created a target account and made my CC the default, but each time i checkout i don’t see an option to use a saved credit card. am i missing something?
@nikki – chase UR has 2x through target
When I ordered an electronic gc just now it had the option to “pay with a gift card” during the checkout process, so it looks like it has not been shut down yet.
Seems like none of the portals give any points or cash back for gift card purchases. Read the fine print.
Also, there’s word that the flipping trick is already dead? Hard to confirm since it takes at least 1-2 hours to get the eGC…
Has anybody thought of going to Safeway/Kroger real quick, buying $1k worth of Target GC’s, then using those to “upgrade” to $1100 worth of Target GC’s? Not only do you increase your value, but you get the fuel points as well..

This implies that we actually need to physically buy the GCs correct?
Slomo please explain further! What do u mean by load your Amex for target prepaid cards?
Use ‘em to load (at any Target store) your Amex for Target prepaid cards. Then do whatever you do with those prepaid cards. You have them, right?
I may have said too much already. (right, boss?) But you have the info.
Sorry for the spam. above.
Egiftcards cannot be used to buy giftcards.
Only physical cards can be used to purchase them i guess.
I had to cancel all my orders since i’m leaving abroad next week for a month.
good luck to others and ty for the info!
Did you even try, Charles? We still need confirmation on that…
If that doesn’t work, I think my idea of hitting up a grocery store (or do they sell them at OD?) Is a mighty fine idea…
I haven’t tried but it says on Target T&C..
someone else can try, but I do not shop at Target, so didn’t want to risk of being stuck with shopping from there.
I know it is definitely possible to purchase giftcard using giftcard (mailed), but I think it’s impossible with e-giftcard.
Slomo & FrequentMiler: Can you verify that on your hush-hush method that card can be reloaded with Target GC?
If it is definitely confirmed that e-giftcards cannot be used to purchase giftcards, then a feasible option is would be to pay 92 (with S/H included) and then sending it back to cardpool or other 3rd party giftcard vendors..
@Mattolo & Slomo & FrequentMiler: waiting for the confirmation also
@Slomo & FM: There are going to be some upset Forum Trolls if more is shared there…. Lol!
fwiw…I was unable to use a Sears gift card at Kmart to load a Halogen card (the new prepaid push)…I know, I know, not what you’re asking…once bitten, twice shy!
They are talking about loading up “Amex prepaid card for Target” with target GC in store. So you have now converted Target GC into a Amex GC, although it would involve a $3 load charge at the Target store. But you still come out $7 on top.
Correct me if wrong.
@Kirank
That’s if you can actually use the eGC to do such. More likely you’d have to use the physical GC, and as such, you’d only come out $5 on top.
I guess you can covert eGC into mobileGC and use it in store. Yes you would come out $5 on top + points/spend on the credit card.
@Gabriel – The “mobile” GC option might work. It looks like it has a bar code that displays on your phone to show the cashier in the Target store.
Man, when it rains, it pour miles, does it not…..and to think I was actually thinking about using the pet stuff to get my spend done on my new Citi Business Advantage card.
Well, 27 $100 physical gift card later, that is done. I think that is my risk tolerance. My two Hawaii Air cards will have to wait for my next trip to office depot…..
Now, here hoping Plastic Jungle gives me no hassles. I am going to try to stick to 5 cards per transaction.
@kirank – I follow. It wouldn’t work on the Visa Halogen and she couldn’t get it to work on the $5.95 fee Amex, either. Womp womp. The only buttons she could choose were cash, debit or credit depending on Halogen or Amex and neither worked with a gc swipe.
Sorry, team – off topic.
I know we are going sidebar here, but it has been said that you can also merge several e-cards into one mobile card to minimize load cost.
Wonder if I can go to OfficeMax, order gift cards from my phone and turn around and pick hem up in the store. Then go to Target. Anyone know?
Is the e-gift card dead? I can’t get any of the $100 Target eGC to add to cart – gives an error. Mobile & physical still works.
I’m in for a few grand of physical gift cards. If I can’t buy prepaid credit cards with them, I’m sure my wife will have them spent within a few months.
@Alex K
Just try a “brand” of eCard other than the standard dog which comes up first. I got it to load using another design
There is a Dell gift card sale going on. $50 free ecode with $300 gift card. PJ will pay 84% http://slickdeals.net/f/4924662-Dell-Gift-card-Buy-300-eGift-Card-Get-50-Dell-eGift-card-for-FREE?&page=2
That’s what I thought too so I tried 6 or 7 different ones – all gave the same error. Which one works for you currently?
@Alek K
“Congratulations” worked just fine for me. Maybe try another browser if that doesn’t work for you.
@Gabriel
Thanks for responses. I was thinking along those lines too – tried Chrome incognito and IE, both with Congratulations – neither worked. The add to cart button now intermittently disappears as well when the email option is checked. And just to clarify – I did get 17 of them prior to these issues (last purchase around 15 min ago). If it’s not on it’s way out then it’s damn quirky…
never received my e-gc. any thoughts?
For using saved CC, I found that if you sign out and sign back in all your saved addresses and saved CC become available at checkout.
Also, not all target stores carry “Amex for target GC”. Make sure the store near you have them. Could not find any around Pitt. Also the other retailer GCs that the target store near me carried were all ones already available on GC sites for > 10% discount. Wish target around me carried some Gas GCs. Good luck to others.
https://www279.americanexpress.com/GPServWeb/whereToBuyDetails.do
Need a higher spending limit on my cards, could easily write a script and blow through $50K in spend.
I called me local office depot, office max, and staples and asked if they had target gift cards, but all said no. drats, no ink bold 5x points here
if I bought this gift card with a Chase Freedom card would I get 5 points per dollar? This quarter’s 5 bonus point category is grocery stores and I believe “grocery store” includes Target and Walmart.
I have a conspiracy theory that Target wont send out the ecodes today to prevent double, triple, etc dipping on this promotion.
@Mark, according to my pending SPG Amex purchases, Target is classified as this: “Category: Merchandise & Supplies – Internet Purchase”, but im not sure what Citi or Chase classify it as…
Am I missing something? The terms very clearly say that giftcards cannot be redeemed on any Visa or Amex giftcards (Target GiftCards and Target Mobile Gift Cards can be redeemed for merchandise or services (excluding American Express® and Visa® gift cards and prepaid cards) at Target stores in the U.S. or Target.com.)
Also – PlasticJungle is only showing 89.25% pay on Target GCs.. which is far below the $92 you will be paying for a hard card ($90+ship).
So – the only way I see this working is if you really want something at Target….?
nevermind, I forgot “grocery stores” was last quarter’s category.
@starp023. Well, that certainly changes the landscape. We never shop at target. Too far away
@Alex I ran into same issue you reported with out of stock notices on numerous styles of $100 egift and physical gift cards. I switched to 2 $50 or 4 $25 without trouble and did get the 10% I was not buying in large quantity just shifting some spend forward at a discount.
can you use multiple physical, egift or mobile gift cards to pay for gift cards online?
My understanding is that you can use Target e-gift cards online to buy physical gift cards, but I haven’t yet tried it so I can’t prove it to be true.
As to when the e-gift cards will show up, I think Grant is right: I think Target wised up and stopped all delivery until this deal is done. Or, they’ll do a “United Airlines” and cancel our orders. We’ll see.
Regarding Target prepaid cards: I haven’t completed my experiments with that, so I can’t say anything yet. Please note though that it used to be the case that you could load the Target Amex via credit card over the internet, but that was shut down when people abused it.
Plasticjungle has already dropped its purchase price below 90% for Target cards. if that was your angle you are now in a buy and hold position.
@Travelpye: “I was not buying in large quantity just shifting some spend forward at a discount.”
ditto here.
IrishTiger: I’m very interested in your Halogen findings. It sounds like you can fill it up with a credit card even if you can’t do a gift card, right?
don’t have the patience. Decided to cancel all my e-card orders. good luck and would love to hear any stories that come of this deal.
@FrequentMiler,
I believe the Halogen was cash or debit only…and the Amex was cash, credit, or debit…I drive by there on Mondays if you want me to pop in Kmart again. Where are you heading with this? Minimum spends paid off with the same card you used to minimum spend with? I am still trying to unload $600 of Sears cards after failed tire shopping.
(Perhaps another thread is due?)
IrishTiger: Yes, any time a prepaid card can be loaded from credit card there is a possibility to use it to meet minimum spend by withdrawing the money via ATM or other means. So, if you can find out if this card can be loaded via credit card, that would be great!
i’ve already placed my order with ABC Gift cards to sell it back, i’m losing $.11 per $100, which I’m ok with.
Any one have idea about how long text message took to come through?
@Ryan, did you buy retail cards or ecards? I thought you had to enter the serial number on the cards and mail them to ABC?
@Ryan – How did you place an order to sell already without the giftcard #? You need this to complete a transaction on ABC Giftcard site, however, Target seems to be holding back the eGiftCards
Ok I think I am stopping at $2,500. I don’t have the patience for it anymore. Especially since it looks like codes will not come tonight.
I’m buying physical gift cards, and if you are a bulk seller with ABC, you can just fill out the bulk form and submit it. They then send you the form with the price and order number printed on it. You then send that in with your cards and you get paid. I’ve done it before with Spa finder gift cards.
Thanks for the clarification Ryan. I just signed up for an ABC account and did a bulk sell order of $500. Seems pretty easy and elected to have a bank transfer for payment.
I thought ABC had a $500 every 6mos limit on selling them GCs
All my orders just got cancelled! Anyone else?
@marZ, how many order did you have? My 5 order are still good…
@Ken…not that i’m aware of…i actually called and spoke to them awhile back and they said they have people that sell them thousands per month (what are we missing?), he gave me some pointers about making sure the cards are real and stuff. They seemed pretty cool about it.
I had about 25 orders on two separate cards. All the orders on one card got cancelled, the others seem to be good. I think I can try to re-order, but not sure it will go through. Maybe it’s a sign that I shouldn’t bother?
hey bro, you got to be smart and explain what you mean by buy gc with gc?
buy visa giftcards with target gc or what?
there are 4 million gift cards and i dont know which gc u can buy with target gc
If people have to spell it out , move on then
This is as simple as it comes
target.com says it takes 4 hours to get giftcard code. can anyone talk on this? dont want to try and churn if i wont get my gc code till after midnight.
my local vons had target gift cards on the rack. bought a few of them to use on target.com with plans on re-selling. not a bad way to get some spend and “free” points.
Ordered mine at 4:28 today and haven’t received anything. I elected for a mobile gc. This was my first attempt at this kind of thing, so I only ordered one to start with.
In for a grand of the shipped variety. Presumably you can break even on the sell to PJ with TCB.
@marZ. They can’t cancel the orders legally because the T&C on the promo does not limit the amount of orders, nor the amount per person/household. I would escalate that right away.
Over? I can’t get anymore with the discount..and i’m two short on my total order i was submitting to ABC Giftcards…not that it matters. I’m in for…well, a lot…a script is your friend
looks like the deal is dead. now i am stuck with gift cards I bought at the store. oh wells.
can still do 4/$25… well as of about 30 min ago
Just tried to do more on a few different browsers. No go for me! I only got 3 in.
Yup, looks dead. Got mine in just in time.
Bought 14 cards as soon as I saw FM posting. This is gonna help me meet spend req on my starwood card
WOOT!
deals dead cant get the discount. crap!!
Still works on the foam gift card
Thank you!!! Working on it now.
Jason: Thanks!
Others: When this one dries up, keep looking. There are a lot of different gift cards
Just bought 3k worth of physical giftcards. Decided to move quickly. Whats my best use of them? I don’t know yet. I guess at worst I can resell them for a slight loss, and make minimum spend.
Thanks again Jason for letting us know one was still alive and Thank you to FM for giving us a heads up as well as the gentleman who informed you of the information.
Was able to finish off all my physical gift cards.
I was about to get 2.5k worth of physical cards. Did it to meet minimum spend on two cards.
Would have met the minimum spend on one card, but had thought the the $10 off was done for until Jason mentioned the foam card. DANG IT! WOULD HAVE GONE 10k!
[...] Breaking News: Today only buy Target gift cards 10% off! – The … [...]
quick update to my earlier post…my gc’s were mysteriously cancelled but i was able to un-cancel them through my account. sorry for the false alarm.
I would like to point out my sapphire card was shut down temporarily for fraud alert after 4 purchases (continued on my freedom without issue). Anyone else get flagged?
More than 12 hours later and the egift cards that were to be delivered in 4 hours still have not shipped. My order has not cancelled, but it is concerning that they hsve not shipped yet. It was a small order.
Plasticjungle sell rate is down to about 85%….so a big fail for anyone planning to go the TCB route. Cardpool/ABC will be a loss after the Target shipping fee. This is a good example of how big volume can kill a deal…I wonder if PJ will ever revise the Target rate back up.
Just called Target to ask why 14 of my 24 (physical) gift card orders were cancelled last night and was told that they were cancelled due to a “quantity limit”, and that “it would make sense that they cancelled 14, as 10 is the limit”.
I wasn’t able to stay on the phone to press the agent further (had to take another call), but it doesn’t make much sense to me. Has anyone else’s orders been cancelled? Did anyone read about a quantity limit while ordering last night? Why would Target even want to limit gift card purchases?
PJ has been dropping all there rates lately not a good sign for GC Churns.
If you can afford to wait a bit before selling, I’d recommend that. Target gift cards have huge value so you should be able to get over 90 cents to the dollar when selling them. Or, read the comments in this post carefully and see if you can figure out another way of using those gift cards. Sorry I’m not spelling things out, but some opportunities will go away quickly if I advertise them.
Has anyone else gotten the mobile GCs delivered yet? I ordered around 6-7 PM last night….said they should be delivered within 4 hours — haven’t seen anything yet. You apparently get a text but can then combine the GCs into one large GC on your phone.
I have not gotten any of mine yet (neither emailed nor cell phone delivery)
I still didn’t have my eGiftCard show up as of this morning. Since I bought $1.7k worth of physical gift cards, I just cancelled it. Screw them…if they don’t want to send it out, they can now take less sales. I hope anybody else who ordered both physical and eGC’s cancelled their eGC’s as well.
Also, if you don’t have the time to sit on a couple $k worth of gift cards, maybe one shouldn’t be playing these games in the first place? Just my $.02
My guess is that Target management put a hold on all gift card orders until they decide how to handle the situation. If so, this is very United Airlines 4 Mile-ish.
Bad news regarding the Target Amex: http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/finance/1201558/m17021434/#m17021434
I just received three emails from Target. One said my order has shipped (I ordered one physical card) and the other two said my order was cancelled.
And, I received 1 e-gift card (of many)
I just got my first of two mobile GCs delivered. I loaded it into my target mobile app for in-store use without a problem. I should be able to buy a physical giftcard in store with it and avoid the $1.95 shipping fee.
Still waiting on the second. I ended up canceling the other e-giftcards that I ordered because I was worried I wouldn’t be able to convert them to the mobile app after reading the T&Cs.
Ordered 7 for $100 and 4 for $25. Just received 4 of the $100 and all of the $25. Looking good so far.
Just got the last 3.
[...] you might as well take advantage of Top Cashback that currently pays 5.5% for your Avis rental (Frequent Miler, any better ideas to do this?). If you don’t yet have an account with Top Cashback, here is [...]
My orders using Target GC have been cancelled.
My orders using credit cards have all been delivered.
I called earlier and was told that there was a limit of 10 per customer. So, of my 15 orders, they cancelled 5 of them. Most of the successful orders were made with gift cards.
I ordered 10/$100 via CC through PayPal which went to a different email address. Haven’t received the mobile GCs, but no cancellation.
Ordered 15/$100 with GCs through a different email. 5 came back as cancelled. Still haven’t received the mobile GCs for these either.
Where in the T&Cs is there a 10 transaction limit? Seems shady to me.
For those with cancelled orders, call into Target and escalate and ask them where this 10 gc limitation is listed. That’s all I am gonna say…
Just FYI – PJ has been a lot quicker about adjusting rates on the fly, so be very cautious if there’s any deal that gets lots of traction. And ABC has been pickier as well. As mentioned from FM before – these are regular companies, they’re not huge corporations. So with all the craziness lately they and are making adjustments so they don’t lose money. Their core business model was to buy/sell giftcards from people actually wanting to use the cards or to sell unwanted ones – they are not really setup for the churning that’s going on. All 3 PJ,ABC,CP have their quirks – so tread carefully if you’re not ready to be stuck with LOTS of GC’s
Yep. I got 10 of 12. Went a head and ordered “REAL” gift cards with the e-Gift cards. So, S&H for all 10 just a few bucks! Next step, liquidate!
@delta points… I have seriously been on Facebook too much… was looking for a “like” button to like your post
carwag25: Interesting… thanks for the tip.
My $200 in ecards just arrived.
Had my 17 of the 27 cancelled. Called Target.com and I was pointed to LIMITATIONS ON QUANTITY under terms and conditions http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/page.jsp?title=terms_conditions.
So the conflict at this point is should we be shown that limitations on qty when we are ordering? The answer which I received is that while they process the order after the order is received the limitations are applied afterwards.
At this point I am happy I had my 10 come through.
None of mine have been cancelled, and i’ve received one electronic card, which is all I ordered. None of my physical gift cards have been shipped though.
Well I got 16 of 42, so I guess I should be happy
. 12 egift cards came through and 4 mailed ones are still active but not yet shipped. I used the mobile app to combine the egift cards into 1 for 1000 and 1 for 200. I’m planning on taking these to the store to try out the Amex for Target thing and if that doesn’t work see what profitable ones for resale they have. Or I guess I could just keep them and actually buy stuff too.
Same here, have 20+ physical gift cards ordered, none cancelled, none shipped
Seem that all but 10 have been cancelled in the last 30 or so mins
I am still missing my mobile gift cards- anyone still not gotten theirs, or is a problem with just my phone?
greek2me:
I received only 1 text message with card details. I called them and had them de-activate all my issued cards and have them sent me replacements via email.
Check if your mobile orders show shipped. If yes, then you need to call.
I had commented (#129) about how I got 14 of my 24 cancelled. That was on my credit card. I also used my spouse’s credit card (and a different address) to order another 24, and I just received the slew of shipped emails from that order, all 24.
So imposing the 10 limit on some, but not on others?
I have emails that all but 4 of my physical gift cards have shipped. The other 4 are delayed. Guess they don’t have the foam fingers in stock right now. Anyway, they definitely didn’t impose the 10 limit on me.
I went the simple way – bought 4x$100 e-cards sent to different email addresses. They took much longer than 4 hours to receive, but I got them and sold them through CardPool for $91.35 each (Amazon GC, as good as cash to me!) and went through TCB. At this point, the TCB money would be a bonus! Though I’ve not received any TCB for a CardPool transaction from June so…
@Ryan
I got the delayed shipment on the foam fingers as well. Although I ask you this…you sure they’re not “delaying” your shipment to attempt to enforce a 10 limit rule? I ordered 17 over 2 accounts (lucky for me, 10 in one, 7 in another). I have EXACTLY 6 delayed (and one cancelled). Which leads me to speculate that perhaps they’re trying to cross reference and impose a 10 limit on me?
@gabriel…It seems the only ones I have delayed are the foam fingers…I purchased 52 total (51 physical, 1 ecard)..meant to only order 50 physical, but must have lost count somewhere. All are showing shipped except for the four, and i’ve already received the electronic one. I’m planning on selling all the physical ones. $5.50 for 5K Spg points…i’ll take it.
@Ryan, what do you mean by “$5.50 for 5K Spg points”?
I bought 50 gift cards for $92.11 each(shipping and tax). I have already submitted a bulk order request to sell them online for $92 a piece, so I lose $.11 per gift card. So my loss is $5.50, and i’ll get 4600 points cuz i used my SPG card. I didn’t have a minimum spend and I value SPG points pretty high, so that is why i chose that card. Sorry, I was using the original price of $100 when I came up with 5k…i forgot I only paid $92.11 for each card.
Thanks for clarifying Ryan. I purchased only $500 on Target cards and filled out a bulk order for ABC gift cards. Is there a time limit for them to receive the cards before they change the offer price?
I just had 27 $100 cards shipped to me today by Target as an FYI.
@grant…I’m not aware of a timeframe, but I think the last time I did a bulk sell, it was a good week before I actually mailed the cards to them after submitting the selling request. I think once you submit the order and get the order number, you have locked in the price.
That’s what I thought too. I was planning on sending the cards first class mail, insured for $500 and getting signature. How do you normally mail in bulk orders?
Same way…definitely get the signature verification.
10/10 says shipped. Bought physical gift cards using physical gift cards bought at grocery store. No email yet, but just logged into my account and says shipped.
I’m getting positive test results and I see why FM shushed Slomo. This is very intriguing.

I sent $500 worth of Target gift cards and got a check for $460 from Card Pool ($92 per card), what a perfect way to knockoff $460 from my card. Wish I purchased more cards…
