It’s that time of the week again – more Airplane p0rn!

This week – it’s a Korean Air Boeing 777-200ER on taxi before it begins the long flight from Washington Dulles to Seoul Inchon.

The important bit – the trip report is pretty much complete – I’m completing my last rants

I’ve held back from posting this until pretty much the last minute in case the strike was called off.

Alas, all the negotiation has been for nothing, and the BA/Unite strike is going ahead.

BA Expect to run a 60% service, with a mix of workers, retrained crew and charters being brought in (for example, the LGW-GLA run will be subbed by Ryanair of all people). Expect shorthauls to be filled with charter capacity and long haul cancellations.

Hopefully at the end of this 3 day action, people will knock their heads together and try and avoid the 4 day action that is to follow.

Well after being delayed the best part if an hour, and luggage delivery taking it’s own sweet time (priority baggage my backside). I missed my coach back.

Yes, It’s Vodka and Cola time again… I’m in a Star Gold lounge in the USA that DOESN’T charge for drinks.

 Bloody busy thought.

Next stop after this: CO28 and home…

And that sets the record of “Worst Flight Ever”.

Not for the amount of time of the flight, the tightness of the seat or the lack of overhead space.

Nope.  It was the 2 hour on the ground wait to get going.

Surprise surprise: Been delayed at Dulles.

And no chance of lounges as I’m in the smegging bus station (A gates).

Oh well.. looks like my time in NY could be limited…

… and this joint hasn’t changed an iota in 2 years.

Next stop is Washington Dulles – If 1) I can get aboard and 2) America’s finest representatives (the TSA) aren’t in an arsey mood.

Hint: there’s a dog and handlers at the gate…
