Every Monday I enjoy reading the airline forecast expert Mike Boyd’s provocative, refreshingly cranky, online column on air travel — even though he dismisses most travel reporters as dimwits. Of the the big holiday travel day on Wednesday, he says: “The good news is, it should be like pretty much like any other Wednesday.
