JetBlue just announced new nonstop service between New York (JFK) and Albuquerque (ABQ) commencing on April 22, 2013. In celebration of the new route, they’re offering a pretty amazing fare deal – one way at $66. I’ve never been to New Mexico before, so if I can find an itinerary that works, I might take JetBlue up on this deal. It doesn’t hurt to book something since JetBlue has a 24-hour cancellation policy. Now what would be even more amazing is if other airlines would match this fare (ahemUnitedandAmericanAirlines, areyoureadingthis?).

Fare is valid for flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday only between 4/22-5/22/13 that are booked by 11/29/12, the earlier of 11:59 PM ET or local. 14-day advance purchase required. Restrictions apply. You may learn more about this some of JetBlue’s new service routes here.

Great deal. New Mexico is absolutely amazing. Go to ABQ, Santa Fe and Taos. ABQ has some really nice casinos too if you like gambling

We’ve been waiting for JB to come to ABQ forever … so happy they did, but the ABQ-JFK flight is a redeye. I hope they add more flights!

Definitely come visit New Mexico! I moved to ABQ from Seattle over the summer and absolutely love it. Rent a car and be in Santa Fe in an hour.
