Hilton recently launched an India specific website at www.hiltonindia.com. There is a 20% off sale on the site at the moment, if you book your room nights before April 30, 2013 and valid for stays till December 30, 2013. Valid only for advance purchased room rates. Make sure you get the Gold status at the hotel chain for having a shot at upgrades.

Travelguru is offering a 3rd night complimentary on booking 2 nights at some of the luxurious Oberoi properties around India. These would be the iconic Amarvilas, Rajvilas, Vanyavilas and Udaivilas, and some other metro properties. It says offer valid for a limited period, and seems like one can book till October 31, 2013 at this moment.

There is also a direct booking promotion available with the hotel chain itself at www.oberoihotels.com, however more hotels available via TravelGuru.com. Take your pick.
Like I wrote the other day, Hyatt launched 5 new hotels under the Hyatt brand in India, so if you intend to stay at one of them till August 31, 2013 book with this rate to add free breakfast and internet to your stay.
Happy holidays!

Hyatt Corp. recently introduced the Hyatt brand in India, by taking over the management of five erstwhile Ista hotels in India. This brand will be the fifth Hyatt brand to be introduced in India after 11 properties already operate under the Park Hyatt, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency & Hyatt Place brands. This switch to the Hyatt brand happened at the beginning of April.
The five hotels that join the Hyatt group are Hyatt Bangalore (M.G. Road), Hyatt Hyderabad (Gachibowli), Hyatt Pune, Hyatt Amritsar and Hyatt Ahmedabad.
To mark the occasion, Hyatt has now launched a new promotion offering complimentary Internet & Breakfast at these hotels, if you use the promocode GOPEN to book your stay. The promotion is valid for stays till August 31, 2013. The promotional code will include Internet and breakfast into your price only if you book the Daily Rate (not the prepaid rate which is 20% cheaper usually, if offered)

Jet Airways is one of the 3 airlines which is running a local tieup with Hyatt for a stay-based promotion valid till February 28, 2013 (it started on December 1, 2012). You need to use promotion code SWADBL while making the room reservation and you will be able to earn 1,000 JP Miles instead of the usual 500 JP Miles earned on your reservation.
Here are the participating properties from India:
- Hyatt Regency Chennai
- Park Hyatt Chennai
- Hyatt Regency Delhi
- Grand Hyatt Goa
- Park Hyatt Goa
- Park Hyatt Hyderabad
- Hyatt Regency Kolkata
- Hyatt Regency Mumbai
- Grand Hyatt Mumbai
- Hyatt Regency Pune.
Here are the other properties participating in the promotion:
- Hyatt Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi
- Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Resort & Villas
- Grand Hyatt Doha
- Grand Hyatt Dubai
- Hyatt Regency Dubai
- Park Hyatt Dubai
- Park Hyatt Jeddah Marina, Club and Spa
- Hyatt Regency Kathmandu
- Park Hyatt Maldives
- Grand Hyatt Muscat
While a 1,000 JP Miles are not what I would expect out of a Hyatt stay, because I would bank them to my Hyatt Gold Passport Account, yet it is still good for anyone who does not stay at a Hyatt often and hence won’t want orphan miles.
