Like Marriott did in 2009, HHonors increased the cost of 6 night stays with their recent changes and that significantly affected the cost for some awards, much more than the 20% devaluation commonly tossed around as the change.

This is a bullshit article. You are screwing us Diamond members! I easily stay 6 nights in internationally and now I have to use more points to get the same benefits. HHonors is becoming bullshit. Might as well be a Marriott member, at least the hotels are nicer!

Is there such a split for non-US hotels? There are non-US travellers who check more often Europe, Asia and Middle East.

Let’s wait and seeif this change will then have an echo in the Point-Stretcher program…
