The timeshare properties portion is misleading. They don’t manage anything in Mexico or Canada. Portions of the US properties are through partnerships with limited availability. If they count Grand Pacific and Fiesta Americana, they might as well say they have 4,000 timeshare properties because owners can book into RCI resorts.

I know this is somewhat unrelated – but do they have an up-to-date category list for all their properties?

Ric, thanks for posting! HH is way out in front of SPG and Hyatt, not just in properties but in value of points earned per $ spent on hotel stays (not just absolute points) if you use a few tricks. Both my wife and I like the free breakfast for Golds and Diamonds at almost all properties – WITHOUT sacrificing amenity points. The only major blight is the planned expansion of the Home2Suites brand that offers almost no points, and Hampton which is my least desired brand, and least desired breakfast.

Good stuff, Ric. Now if they would just publish a directory of all of their worldwide properties.

@kaiserpeds – I responded to your comment a couple of days ago, but it appears to be lost.

FlyerTalk member BlondeBomber maintained a spreadsheet for Hilton properties for several years, but I checked and see it has not been updated since 2010. I think I updated the list in 2010, but that is time-consuming work.

Does anyone know of another list of HHonors properties with hotel category?
