Hilton Honors loyalty program Hilton Hotels Worldwide Hotel Loyalty 2012-Q3 Promotions

Hilton HHonors Gold Elite in 4 stays

Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers can register to earn a fast-track to Hilton HHonors Gold elite membership after four stays within 90 days of promotion registration. HHonors Gold normally requires 16 stays or 36 nights in a calendar year.

This offer is stated as exclusively for Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers, but I am posting this fast-track HHonors Gold offer since there are millions of you out there across the globe who book travel with CWT.

Hilton HHonors Gold fast-track Online registration is here.

Or register by phone with Hilton Reservations and Customer Care by requesting Promotion Code ‘CFTE’.

HHonors member must complete the four qualifying stays within 90 days of enrollment to earn HHonors Gold membership. The 90 dyas begins immediately upon promotion registration.

Elite membership status will be valid for the year earned and the subsequent year. This means you will have HHonors Gold after completing 4 stays for the remainder of 2012, all of 2013 and through March 31, 2014.

Loyalty Traveler analysis:

This is an offer targeted exclusively to Carlson Wagonlit Travel customers. The wording of this offer states member will have Gold elite after four stays within 90 days of promotion enrollment and maintain that status for the calendar year Gold elite is earned and the following year.

Register for this CWT fast-track offer in July 2012, then you have 90 days to make four stays and you will have HHonors Gold elite membership for all of 2012 and 2013, even if you complete very few stays after qualifying for HHonors Gold.

This promotion states it runs through 12/31/2013, but may be terminated without notice. These fast-track offers sometimes disappear before their scheduled end date.

    @ Ric

Does this mean it has to be a “paid” stay? Will award stay (points + cash) count as a stay?

  • Jer July 10, 2012

does this HAVE to be booked through Carlson Wagonlit?

  • Ric Garrido July 10, 2012

@JoC – You need to have paid stays. Club Carlson is the only program that counts Points & Cash stays for promotions.

@Jer – No. Once you are registered I think hotels booked on Hilton websites count.

sweet. are there fast-track type offers for other hotel chains for those of us who don’t travel for work or stay at hotels that often?

  • Damon July 10, 2012

    Anything for diamond fast track?

  • Simon July 10, 2012

I assume one could not jump on this for a second year in a row, and snare Gold through March 2014?

  • Ric Garrido July 10, 2012

@Simon – You can try and let us all know. Since there are two fast-track promotions to Gold with four stays (see comment #4) you should be able to get some fast-track.

I have fast-tracked to HHonors elite most years since 2005 with one promotion or another.

@Ric – I’ve registered and will plan to do 4 separate stays at Hilton over the course of the next 2 weeks in the Bay Area. Do you or anyone know how to view my current membership level expiration in My Account? I would assume given I am currently Gold, my expiration date is March 2013 – or is that an incorrect assumption/conclusion?

@Damon – LoyaltyLobby published a Hilton Diamond challenge guide a couple months ago.
