BRUSSELS AIRLINES announced today it will begin service between BRUSSELS and WASHINGTON DC beginning JUNE 18.

This new route will be flown 5 times a week and gives passengers another fantastic way to get to Europe. In addition, this provides Star Alliance passengers a rare (and easy!)new way to reach AFRICA from the USA thanks to BRUSSELS’ fantastic route network in Africa.

SN515 will depart Brussels at 5:30p and arrive in Washington DC at 8:15p
SN516 will depart Washington DC at 10:35p and arrive in Brussels at 12:10p

The flights will operate Wednesday through Sunday.

Currently BRUSSELS’ only US gateway is New York so this is indeed great news for USA based passengers and I LOVE the late departure from Brussels!!

Excellent news! Nice to see another option to Europe. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear UA downgauge the IAD-BRU flight now that they have some competition.

Once again, thanks for the update! Have you (or anyone else) had luck getting SN J award tickets via UA? I always strike out with them from BRU to Africa.

It’s indeed an excellent way to reach the more far-flung places in Africa, I just hope SN will do their advertising across the pond properly!

Do we know which days & times yet?

  5. @Brian – Looks daily Wednesday-Sunday.
