Topguest and Foursquare have partnered for quite a while to reward users for checking in to hotel chains and to select airlines.
United / Continental have now joined and are rewarding users with 50 miles for checking in to select “United / Continental airports“.
It is easy to link up your Facebook or Foursquare account.
1. Register with United or Continental
2. Checkin at select United and Continental airports
3. Earn 50 award miles and get special offers in minutes
I have been checking in with Holiday Inn with foursquare and Topguest for over a year and have always received my points.

I logged in to my United account today to sign up for 1000 mile email sign up promo only to discover that I am a Premier Executive with United!?

Living in a Delta hub, I always fly Delta so I am a bit confused. I don’t recall applying for any status matches or anything – perhaps United is just nudging me to go ahead and see what I’m missing.
I’ve been accumulating United miles ever since the 50,000 Visa card offer came out. Perhaps it’s time to book my reward ticket and see how the Premier Executives fare with United.

Mileopoly posts about a 20% Saver Award Rebate for United Elites that have a Mileage Plus Visa card.
Registration is required.
As a non-elite with United, it did still allow me to register for the promotion. This is more than likely a targeted offer and whether or not that means any miles rebate for me remains to be seen.
The award must be booked between before December 15th, 2010 and must be on United or United Express metal and is good for up to two people on the same reservation. Your 20% miles rebate will be posted to your account four to six weeks after you fly.

You can join MyPoints, complete your profile, and download their toolbar and get 750 United Mileage Plus miles for free.
Living in a Delta hub, I generally don’t fly United, but given the recent Chase 50,000 Mileage Plus offer, I’m looking for anyway to top off my United account.

United Airlines has posted a Director of Mileage Plus Marketing on their Linkedin site.
There must be some FlyerTalk guru out there that would be perfect for the job.

American Airlines and United Airlines are at it again with a Fall Double Elite Qualification promotion.
For American, go to www.aa.com/elite. The promotion runs from September 2, 2009 and December 15, 2009,
For the Double Elite-Qualifying Miles promotion, register prior to travel using promotion code DBLEQ.
To qualify for Elite Rewards, register prior to December 15, 2009, using promotion code ELTRW.
United Airlines registration is here and runs from September 3 to December 15, 2009.
Great way to quickly obtain Elite Status with either airline. Though I’m a Delta guy, I have some upcoming intra-Europe flights on United where I’ll pick up some extra miles.
