Yes folks, you heard it here. It’s time for another Marshall Jackson on Travel reader contest! Entry will be easy, but better yet, there are all kinds of neat little travel related prizes awaiting you! The grand prizes (yes, there are two!) are great enough, but there are other little prizes along the way. Let me tell you more.

First of all, there are two great grand prizes! The first and second randomly chosen winners will receive a $50 dollar Amex gift card each, but there’s even more along the way. Let me tell you about a great little game for the travelers among us called “Airport Geek” available on the iTunes Store. I don’t know about you, but as a fairly frequent traveler (and airline geek), I love guessing the real names of the airport codes my fellow travelers are flying to. AirportGeek is a great opportunity to hone your “3-letter” airport code skills. You’re given the name of an airport, just provide the correct three letter code to earn points, game credits and extra time. Game Center support is coming in July, so you’ll be able to compare your scores with others.

Let’s face it, I’ve been away from blogging for a few weeks.  But I’m back, and I think that’s cause to celebrate with a reader contest.  You might remember my last contest when I gave away a $50 dollar American Express Gift Card.  This time, the gift will be a $75 dollar American Express Gift Card.  But there’s a twist on how to enter the contest, so read the following steps carefully.

1. First, you have to follow me on Twitter.  Both existing followers and new followers can participate.  Follow @MJonTravel.
2. After you follow me on Twitter, you have to comment below to this post with the following statement: “I’m @yourtwitterhandle and I follow @MJonTravel on Twitter.”  For example, “I’m @MJonTravel and I follow @MJonTravel on Twitter.”

Just a quick note regarding my recent contest and your comments about travel related items of interest you’d like to read more about here on the blog.  I’ve printed them all out, and am researching as appropriate.  Some, I could blather on about at end right now, and others I need to do a little thinking about.  I’m working on all of them, and will be blogging about those and anything else in short order.

Reader Shannon, comment # 24 (chosen randomly via random.org).  Shannon wants to know “the best way to use the 100,000 British Airways miles from the credit card promotion.”  I say get yourself a J-class ticket to London, and have a ball!  But I promise to give Shannon’s comment a little more thought in short order, and post some other ideas too.
