As you may already know, my bag took a different vacation than me and didn’t show up in Las Vegas yesterday. That meant I had to quickly acquire a new swimsuit at the hotel. I knew there were swimsuits at the store “Khardashian Khaos” as I had walked by it on previous trips. I had never previously actually walked into the store. However, I ran in there as soon as I arrived at the hotel yesterday so that my friends and I could enjoy the pool for a little bit. Let’s just say the swim suits in there don’t cover much. I’m not modest under normal circumstances, but I am in my 30′s and have had a kid, so like at least most of my back-half to be covered. Well, I was clearly in the wrong store for that!
The suits didn’t have prices on them, so I was a bit surprised when I checked out at realized the bathing suit was $135! Oh well, that bright pink beauty was now mine. I like to wakeboard, not wear pink lace swimsuits, but you take what you can get sometimes.
I shared my look of happiness with the suit on Twitter already, but due to popular demand (and by that I mean 3-4 people), here is why I think they should discount the swimsuits a bit. It’s missing some of the back side! Of course, the shorts I bought here yesterday that are on with the suit are also missing some length from them. Perhaps it is a Vegas trend.
Oh, and in case you are thinking – that’s not too bad. I give you Exhibit C. Pretty much everything covered by the (small) black shorts would be tail hanging out of the swimsuit. Oh, and these were a size large! #Vegasfabulous
No way I would ever intentionally take a picture of me actually in the suit. I would scare small children. I apologize for all the small children why I scared at the pool yesterday while actually wearing the swim suit. United, I’m ready for my real clothes now, please! Oh, and Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up to shop for swimsuits in Vegas……(store an extra in your purse)
