This is your suite with family from the US reuniting with the Canadian side of the family.
We had a total of 17 people ranging in age from 5 months to close to 70 years old gather in the suite at the Hyatt Regency Montreal last night. There was a strike going at the hotel, a huge festival outside, no room service, etc. However, in that moment it didn’t matter. We got take-out from various shops nearby and shared time with relatives. Thank you Hyatt for Diamond confirmed suite upgrades that provide space to make it possible. That extra space is nice when you are traveling alone, but it is when you are with family that the space really becomes valuable. That is the point of what we do.
I just have to ask, what did the hotel do for you? Any freebees due to the strike?
They did not proactively offer anything. I did ask at check-out and did get something….will post details soon.
