One of the best deals in the miles and points world is the Priority Club PointsBreaks deal that offers hotel rooms around the world for just 5,000 Priority Club points per night. Not only are Priority Club points pretty easy to come by via stays at Priority Club hotels (Holiday Inn, Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, etc.), but 5,000 Priority Club points can unofficially be obtained for around $35 (Google purchase Priority Club points for .6 cents – though it is now .7 cents). You can also transfer them 1:1 from the Ultimate Rewards program. In other words, they are pretty easy points to get your hands on.
Roughly once each quarter, Priority Club offers a variety of hotels around the world for just 5,000 points per night. That is significantly lower than the going rate that can be as high as 50,000 points per night. These PointBreaks hotels range from very nice international Intercontinental hotels, to Holiday Inn Express hotels in the middle of a country, in a small town you have never heard of. The “nicer” hotels on the list are often booked up very quickly, so don’t delay if you see a hotel on the list that you want to secure. Double check the cancellation policies of the property you are interested in, but often you can cancel the reservation with no penalty until close to the actual date.
The new list is valid for booking through January 31st (but again most of the properties will be long gone by then).

This list is not one of the stronger lists. There is only one Intercontinental on the list and only a couple of other properties that jump out at my as looking pretty interesting. I personally wouldn’t mind Fiji or the Dead Sea for 5,000 points per night (both shown below), but also probably won’t make it there by the end of January.
I can tell you the Texas cities represented on the list (Beaumont and Mexia) are not tourist destinations by any stretch of the imagination.
However, I am sure some of these cities will work out for some families, so book quickly if you want to take advantage of hotel nights for just 5,000 points per night! Double check the cancellation policies of your selected hotel, but in most cases the reservations will be refundable up to a certain time. Thanks to LAXJunkie415 on Milepoint for the heads up that the list was out!

This is totally off topic but who won the Thanksgiving giveaway of 22,000 Hyatt points?
Evan, will be announced today. Winner has been selected, but doesn’t know they won yet, so could be anyone!
Okay, didn’t expect to have so many posts pop up today. Will announce winners tomorrow for sure! Can’t wait!
Holiday Inn Suva is an ok hotel, for Suva standards (I stay there for work often) but Suva is definitely not my top pick for tourist destination. The beaches in the town itself are non-existent. Stick to Nadi or other tourist towns if there for a holiday, IMO!
Where do I see the 5000points when booking a night.i will be in the Philippines in two weeks and I’m trying to book 2 nights on crown plaza and online says 25000 points needed.
