On Cyber Monday Southwest offered $100 or less one-way fares for any non-stop travel on 12/24. It was the perfect way to book an affordable last minute holiday trip (well, at least half of it anyway). Now they have brought this deal back (with tweaks), and expanded the available dates for travel. The dates for this deal now include Dec. 18-19 and 24-25, 2012. It says “in select markets”, so I am not sure that it covers all non-stop city pairs this time, but it certainly covers many city pairs.
If you still have not booked a trip for the holidays, but want to get away (or get home), this this is a good chance to do so. You can also book these trips using Southwest points, so a $100 “Wanna Get Away” flight in terms of points is 5,340 points. You can transfer those points 1:1 from Chase Ultimate Rewards, if you don’t already have them in your Southwest account. The beauty of booking a Southwest ticket on points is you can have the points redeposited without penalty if you need to cancel.
Seats are limited on these fares, so move quickly if you want in on this. The sale ends today (12/4).

Today is the last day to purchase $300 in Southwest gift cards with a $50 coupon at Texas H.E.B. Grocery stores.
Terry, thanks for that reminder!
Thanks mommypoints for the update. I just booked 4 tickets for my family from MCO-PHX for just 21360 points.
Shruti, that is great!
