I want to share a few quick updates about some things in the miles and points world….
- This site and all of BoardingArea will be moving to a fancier server starting tonight. My normal morning post will go out late tonight, so there will still be some new content for anyone who would like to visit tomorrow morning while drinking their requisite cup of coffee, but the ability to comment or make additional posts will be on hold until the move is completed (hopefully) by Sunday. I may go through withdrawals myself, so please come hang out with my on Twitter or Facebook! Thanks for your patience during this upgrade.
- Registration for the Chicago Seminars is now open, and the booking link for the hotel at the September Frequent Traveler University is reported to be available tomorrow. Follow this thread for info on Chicago Seminars and this thread for the Frequent Traveler University. All the necessary links and info are available in those linked threads.
- This round of the Amex 75K business gold rewards card has been announced to end tomorrow from a few sources. The application says March 14th, so perhaps it will still be available beyond tomorrow, but I wanted to throw out that warning in case anyone is counting on the 3/14 date. This isn’t my link, so I have no direct inside info.
- Earn 1,000 Southwest Rapid Reward points if you need to purchase and use TurboTax online. If you want more details on this head to Points, Miles, and Martinis.

I uses the link for Southwest & TurboTax and did a FREE return and still received the 1,000 points for completing my return! It took a month for the miles to post to my account. I like earning miles for free while doing something I would normally have to do!
