Review of SPG Moments Wrigley Field Suite Experience

About a month or so ago I saw an option to redeem 7,500 Starwood Preferred Guest points for two luxury suite seats at a Cub’s home game at Wrigley Field. I value SPG points at greater than two cents per point value, but I value this experience even higher than that. It just so happened that the deal appeared as I was trying to plan something special for my husband’s… Read the Rest.

Birthday Surprise on Points

Someone in my household who will remain nameless is quickly approaching a BIG birthday.  The actual big date isn’t until next year, but we are warming up to it by stepping up the birthday celebrations a notch this year.  Though he did dub our small family celebration at a local Hyatt The Best. Birthday. Ever. last year, so I guess the bar was already set kinda high. Anyway, last week… Read the Rest.

SPG Stays and Check-ins = Ticketmaster Cash

The Starwood Preferred Guest program has given away $50 Ticketmaster concert cash codes in the past.  I took advantage of that promo and it worked out great with very little effort on my part.  This time getting the Ticketmaster codes takes a little more work than it did last time, but it is still a promo worth paying attention to if you have some SPG stays in your near future. … Read the Rest.

Redeem SPG Points for Luxury Suites at Wrigley Field

For the most part I like to use my miles and points for travel, but every now and then I stumble across a pretty reasonable deal to use points for something else.  Over the past few years I have seen some decent opportunities to use SPG points via the “Moments by SPG” program to gain access to different events.  Today I saw some packages posted in the SPG Moments program… Read the Rest.

Current Hotel Promo Updates (SPG + Hilton)

Yesterday kicked off the start of the second quarter Hilton HHonors promo and today Starwood Preferred Guest announced their next bonus points promotion.  With the exception of Hilton, most hotel programs do not operate their promotions on a tight quarterly schedule.  It is common to see gaps (sometimes a couple of months long) between promos.  So, I am pretty pleased that the next SPG promo will start on May 1… Read the Rest.

Yes, SPG Cash and Points Rates Are More Available

It looks like Lucky and I have come to the same conclusion… Starwood Cash and Points reservations are now more available than they were before the cash and points award chart was changed yesterday.  I spent a unhealthy healthy amount of time playing with cash and points reservations in the days and weeks leading up to the award chart change, so there are some properties that I am pretty familiar… Read the Rest.
