It looks like later in the year we’ll be able to purchase in-flight wi-fi on United Premium Service flights between New York and San Francisco/Los Angeles for $12.95. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand the concept of accessing the internet at 37,000 feet is kind of cool, but on the other hand I’m not sure I like what comes with it as far as certain self important business travelers go.

On the flip side, think of all the real-time annoying questions that will get posted:
“Just saw Y pax using F lav, should I complain to FA?”
“Should I push the FA call button to order my fifth drink? She won’t come by!
“Help quick! Must decide on dinner entree”

    :D
