Accor A-Club…. what’s that? Well, that’s the program that includes Motel 6. OK, not interested? They also have Sofitel (very nice) and Novotel, among other chains in their group. Anyway, through September 30 they’re offering new members 2,000 points for signing up, which can be redeemed for a $60 (or 40 Euro) voucher towards a hotel stay. As Loyalty Traveler points out, there are quite a few nice Sofitel properties, so this is a deal that’s worth taking advantage of.

If you first go to the page detailling the A-Club birthday celebration, http://www.a-club.com/en/index-offer-detail.html?promoId=1239&promoDir=promo and click the “Join” link from there, it takes you back to the main “Join Now” page but will auto-populate a promo code for you.

Say I want to use one of these at a Novotel in Argentina or China. What denomination voucher do I get?

@ hobo13 — I think you can order the voucher in USD and then they would just apply the amount to the reservation at the exchange rate of the local currency for that day.
