British Airways is offering status matches to those with bmi status with addresses in Belgium, Israel, Ukraine, and the Netherlands. They’ll match bmi Silver to BA Silver and bmi Gold to BA Gold. BA Gold gets you access to OneWorld Emerald lounges whenever traveling on OneWorld and you can even use BA lounges when you’re not traveling on a OneWorld carrier.

Would love to do that status match as I have BMI Gold but no address in any of the eligible countries. Any ideas?

HELP ME OUT GUYS! The address is legit, it’s my friends from student exchange last year and I’ve been there/had stay at that address too.
    Here’s a respond from BA…

    Dear Mr Josh,

Thank you for your interest in our bmi tier matching campaign and the British Airways Executive Club.

As stated in the Terms & Conditions, British Airways reserves the right to verify member’s information and an address check hasn’t been successful in matching your name with the address in your Executive Club profile. To be able to process your application, we require an official proof that you are resident at the stated address to be sent to us.

    Kind regards,

    British Airways Loyalty team
