    Definitely Afghanistan. One of the other bloggers (Ariana) posted pictures of this place, there is a family living in this place in the top right corner (you can see the tent).

    It is the Darul Aman palace which ended up also being the former Afghan Ministry of Defence for a period of time.

    I was there 2 years ago and met a nice family that lives in a tent in the former palace gardens. Sad sight. Tajbeg Palace is right across and in much better shape.
