Through February 3, 2013, American is offering 100 bonus AAdvantage miles for enrolling in the AAdvantage eShopping mall and opting in to email communications from them until the bonus points post (which should be within 8-10 weeks).

You can also earn 300 bonus AAdvantage miles if you make a purchase through the mall during the promotion period, and an extra 600 miles if you make a second qualifying purchase of $100 or more during the promotion period.

While 100 miles isn’t a lot, it’s a great way to extend the expiration of an account.
