I’m sure most have seen the article by Chris Elliott about frequent flyers/elites by now, but if you haven’t, check it out. I’ve always had a lot of respect for Chris Elliott and generally agree with his conclusions. This article, on the other hand, is two pages of utter garbage, stereotyping all frequent flyers as [...]

Pop superstar Madonna was reportedly furious after a camera crew sneaked into her hotel room during her stay in Cannes, France.
……..
According to French newspaper Le Parisien, Madonna was so angry with the hotel staff, she refused to pay the $90,000 bill.

It’s kind of ridiculous that camera crews somehow snuck into her room, and you can [...]

Interesting article and corresponding results about airport satisfaction. It basically speaks for itself, although I can’t really say I agree with the results. Actually, some of them almost seem the wrong way around to me.

Here’s a very interesting article about J.P. Morgan’s analysis of bankruptcy risk of various carriers. In a way I think they’re almost spot on in terms of which carriers are the most stable right now, but at the same time I think there’s an important distinction to be made here for anyone reading this article, [...]

This is quite possibly the strangest story I’ve read in a long time, probably because it makes zero sense. From MSNBC:

This CNN article regarding AA MD80 groundings is very informative, yet there’s one thing which annoys me beyond end (bolding and italicizing mine):
Bishop Bernard Jordan, a Harlem minister, was in a first-class line trying to catch a flight to Atlanta, where he was scheduled to preach Wednesday night.
“It would have been good to know in [...]

The BBC reports:
Virgin Atlantic has summoned its entire crew of in-flight beauty therapists to a meeting next week, amid speculation that the service could be axed.
The airline said the meeting was part of a regular review of its Upper Class services and products and refused to comment on the rumours.
Sir Richard Branson’s firm employs 280 [...]

CNN had a somewhat bizarre, long article today about the FAM program. I’m not quite sure what about the article strikes me as odd, but it certainly is to me.
Of the 28,000 commercial airline flights that take to the skies on an average day in the United States, fewer than 1 percent are protected by [...]

My friend Robert sent me a link to an interesting article in The Economic Times, which makes zero sense to me.
The National Commission had upheld an order of the state-level commission based in Chandigarh which had awarded Rs 50,000 as damages to a lady passenger for mental agony, harassment and inconvenience.
Complainant Sonali Arora — along [...]
