After over one year of dealing with Aero California I was able to get a refund of unused tickets for my nanny and her family...Aero California finally stepped up and did the right thing after I contacted the US Department of Transportation and emailed them my dilemna...within hours of my email to the USDOT, Aero California initiated the process of a full cash refund for 4 unused tickets!

I would highly recommend contacting the USDOT with your issue!!!

Good Luck!!!

The airline has 90 days from the date they were grounded -April 2 to correct the issue however the airline was aware of their violation since last year. I suggest write the Aero Calif. based out of La Paz, Baja California and see what their response it. We planned an entire wedding over there and now like many others we can't afford to buy other tickets so the wedding has been put on hold. Good luck to all...

We have 5 people scheduled to go to Puerto Vallarta in mid-June. It was a special gift to my parents as an opportunity to see their birth-county one more time(they're 78and health is getting questionable). I feel horrible that they will be robbed of this. I cannot afford to buy any more tickets. If anyone has info. please let me know too. If I find anything, I will post it.

My family purchased tixs to Mazatlan out of San Diego on April 6 and had purchase tixs from another airline to keep our vacation plans. We are still going back and forth with the airlines and travel agency but getting no where. Has anyone heard anything on whether people will get their money back?

We had our vacation to Loreto,Baja lost when aero calif went down, our only hope is to contact our credit card co to get a refund on the tickets, however not to be notified well in advance of this shutdown is unacceptable to us,

We have tickets for mid-June, for 6. If anyone gets a contact email or number, please forward it. Does the Mexican government do anything to help folks, or maybe other airlines honor tickets?

(Yes, I'm an optimist :-)

My wife and I have flown AERO CALIFORNIA several
times in the past few years when we travel to TUCSON, AZ. When will they resume their schedule
The other choice is drive or pay more on another
airline.

It is a shame that poweful people decide they want to own the airline business in Mexico so they start two airlines, pay they're pilots less than half of what other mexican airlines do and push aeroCalifornia out of the way for "safety issues"... Guess Azteca is next and Aviacsa should be wary

It is unfortunate that Aero California suspended operations after being in business for so many years and such a colorful and dedicated past. Recently in Mexico City their counter seemed busy and businesslike. Mexican Airlines seem at a disadvantage by not having huge amounts of capital to invest in newer planes, yet it would be good to see Aero Calif. work toward getting newer equimpment if they are to stay in business.
