Bill,

You're an idiot. The 9/11 hijackers weren't praying or making "anti-American" statements prior to getting on the planes. Their whole point was to "blend in" - just the opposite of the Muslims in question.

You bring up El Al - their record wasn't so good in the 1960s and 1970s. Since the 1990s, Royal Jordanian probably has a comparable record - and you see Muslims praying all the time in, around, before, during, and after the flight.

And Muslims who pray (as they're required to) are "behaving like terrorists"? Please - no matter how you try to justify your prejudice, in the end you're just a prejudiced fuckhead.

They were "praying" just like someone pulling a trigger was just "exercising his finger".

In fact, as we are seeing now, their actions were a deliberate provocation intended to get them ejected from the plane, so as to launch an absurd (and dangerous) so-called "civil rights" case against the airlines.

Fact is, their behavior was consistent with the behavior of the 9/11 murderers (and many other Islamic extremists) prior to their crimes.

Unlike El Al Airlines (which has remained one of the safest because of their policy of questioning anyone for any reason) US airlines have been obliged to avoid so-called "racial profiling". And so, they are left with behavioral profiling. And if that is taken away, then we are left with no protection whatsoever.

If the 9/11 murderers chanted "Mary had a Little Lamb" before killing everyone, then I would be nervous about groups of men chanting that song on my plane.

Just as you can't cry "fire" where there is none, you can't behave like a terrorist and expect to be left alone.
