The End of Check In?

Jun 19th, 2007 | By Jared Blank

Spain’s Clickair has said that come the end of June, it will eliminate the need to check in for its flights out of Spain.  They haven’t announced details, but they said it will be called something like "click and fly" and not involve using a mobile phone.  Interesting.  Don’t expect anything similar here for some time, but when it does, I’m sure Alaska Air (which has come up with nearly every innovation in online travel, from e-tickets to online check in) to be the first.
