Delta Flight Diverted Because of Apple Juice

Yes, that’s it. A passenger on a Delta flight from LaGuardia to Greensboro, NC, became unruly after flight attendants took too long to prepare his apple juice, causing the plane to divert to Philadelphia where, if there is any justice in the world, authorities kicked his ass.

Caught a glimpse of this on Fox yesterday. The anchor quipped that the other passengers probably clapped after him getting the boot. The article mentions their scheduled arrival was 3:30pm, but did not arrive until 12:22am. 1000 phone calls home to the wife updating her as to when I would be home for dinner, when to put saran wrap over my dinner, and when to throw my dinner out would not have been a clapping moment for me. Haha..

Wow. I can’t imagine someone getting angry enough to cause a plane diversion because of some apple juice.
And once again, we have to thank Fox News (and probably the whole cable news industry) for bringing us this inane, trivial, hilarious news on what must have been a very slow news day.
