OpenSkies Drops Coach, Increases Prem+ Cabin

July 29 2008

OpenSkies has decided to drop its small (and kinda sad) coach cabin and replace those 30 seats with 12 (quite nice) Prem+ seats for its flights to Paris and Amsterdam.  Their 757s will now hold 64 passengers.  On the plus side, I wouldn’t be shocked if those Prem+ seats are available at a nice sale price during the slow seasons since they can’t fill the planes with low-fare coach seats.  Keep an eye out…

    Hi there,

Thanks for your travel review articles which I highly appreciate.

I remember a month ago (if I’m not mistaken) economy class tickets were on sale for the christmas period.
But now, they don’t appear on their booking options. That perfectly makes sense if you consider Openskies’ plan to put more Prem+ seats in the plane.

But I was wondering, what happened to those passengers who might have booked a coach class ticket for New York… do you have an answer? have they put them on the extra seats?

    Just curious…

    Cheers,

PS/ please excuse me for my pityful English, it’s not my native language.

    Orian
