The winner of Saturday’s “guess my final destination” contest is Dude26, who was the first to correctly guess Kiev, Ukraine. Congrats Dude26, please send me an email to confirm your contact details! I’m pleasantly surprised with just how stunning the city is, really nothing like I had pictured at all. Trip report coming soon.

I flew Austria’s new business from JFK to Vienna and then on to Kiev. Check out initial thoughts and pics in today’s earlier post. The seat was extremely comfortable, the in-flight entertainment excellent, and the food tasty.

I still haven’t uploaded the pictures from my Dave Matthews SPG Meet & Greet, so that contest for 1,000 AA miles has been extended until tomorrow. Additionally, I’m about to board Austrian Airlines flight 88 from JFK – Vienna on a 777-200 in a single seat business row. However, my ultimate destination is not Austria. I’ll be heading further east on another Austrian flight. My connection time is under 3 hours but greater than 2 hours and I’ll be flying within Europe. The first reader to correctly comment on the location wins 1,500 AA miles (thanks to a Points.com voucher). Good Luck!
I’m very excited for my first ever Austrian Airlines flight, the business cabin is looking great! Full details tomorrow from ….

Thanks everyone for entering to win a Star MegaDo 4 seat next to Randy Petersen via Point Me to the Plane. I hope you all had fun and got a good laugh reading through some of the Say What? Overheard on the Plane entries. Most readers guessed the most viewed post was the latest entry, however it was actually the first one. After discovering Overheard, new readers tend to revert back to the first entry.
Anyway, there were 15 correct entries and I used random.org to select our winner…Jordan!
Jordan joins the finalists from each of the other BoardingArea blogs and has a shot at winning one of two free seats on the MegaDo. Here’s hoping that Jordan takes home the prize for Point Me to the Plane and wins the seat! Good luck Jordan and thanks again to everyone who entered!

Congratulations to Brenter23, for correctly answering Friday’s terminal photo contest! The correct answer was YYZ – Toronto Pearson International Airport – Terminal 3. Even after hiding the US Customs pre-clearance sign, the majority of readers answered correctly and random.org was used to pick the lucky commenter, number 4. Brenter23, please send me an email to adam@pointmetotheplane.com so that I can award you the miles.
I flew Air Canada out of Terminal 1 the week before and I much preferred that terminal – recently renovated, faster US clearance, and better restaurants.
In the meantime, keep sending in Overheard on the Plane comments for inclusion in our June-July reader submission contest.
