American Airlines is apparently apologizing for their recent operating performance  by offering double Elite Qualifying Miles (EQMs) for every flight through the end of 2012. In addition, they are offering double miles for a select period in the month of November.

In order to earn double elite-qualifying miles and points on every flight, the promotion requires a flight with one of the participating airlines including American Airlines, American Eagle and the American Connection carrier.

  • The bonus is Double Elite-Status Qualifying Miles and Points during Thanksgiving travel
  • From November 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012 only double points
