Delta and Johnnie Walker have teamed up to offer complimentary Scotch Whiskey tastings during the Month of December in select Delta SkyClubs. The tastings start tonight with an event at New York LGA airport SkyClub in Terminal C from 4 PM – 7 PM.
Where And When Are The Tasting Events?
You can find complimentary samples of Johnnie Walker Black, Blue, Gold and Green Label at the following locations and times.
- December 6th – New York, NY (LGA) – Terminal C from 4pm – 7pm
- December 13th - Atlanta, GA (ATL) – Concourse F from 4pm – 7pm
- December 20th - New York, NY (JFK) - Terminal 2 from 4pm – 7pm
- December 27th - West Palm Beach, FL (PBI) - Concourse C from 4pm – 7pm
It’s hard to choose. I like them all, but I defer to Green or Gold when I have a choice. Did Delta cover your preference of Scotch with this tasting event?
Bottom Line
This is a great way to spend a Thursday evening in the SkyClub taking in some great Scotch Whiskey at a participating SkyClub.
This makes me wonder, will Johnnie Walker supplement Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey onboard Delta flights? A guy can dream can’t he?

A choice between Johnnie Walker and Woodford Reserve sounds like a great problem to have. …I just hope that this won’t lead to Woodford Reserve being replaced.

Hi bobtray – As of now, Woodford is only on flights and Johnnie Walker is only in SkyClubs. Would be great if they were both moved to SkyClubs and Flights.

Not quite the Laphroaig tastings that were hosted in Admirals clubs earlier this year. I contemplated switching terminals at LAX and burning a club pass to partake in that, but ended up with a too-short connection.
This interests me, but I’ll likely miss out, and to be honest I’m a snob for single malts most of the time when it comes to Scotch.
Delta is certainly the airline of choice in the US for quality booze. Both the in-flight and club selections easily beat the competition.

I’m a fan of the double-black, the oft-ignored Johnnie Walker!
