Mrs Weekly Flyer scored a nice deal online yesterday that maximized points for buying paper towels. Baby Weekly Flyer definitely has upped our paper towel usage and we find ourselves always low on paper towels. So this may be a good way to earn points and save over 50% on paper towels.

Here’s the Deal - Update: OUT OF STOCK

Bottom Line

Mrs. Weekly Flyer ordered us 15 packages which added up to approximately 418 extra Chase points and a total cost savings of $45 on basic household item that we use everyday! Free shipping makes it even sweeter as they will arrive at our front door! With 90 roles of paper towels coming our way, hopefully we won’t run out again anytime soon!

Of course you can earn 5x points at office supply stores when you use a card such as the Chase Ink Plus Business Card offers 50,000 bonus points after $5,000 spend within 3 months, the Chase Ink Bold Business Card offers 50,000 bonus points after $5,000 spend within 3 months.

Wait, the deal gets even sweeter! At some Staples you’ll find a cleaning/breakroom catalog near the front of the store. On the back are two coupons for $20 off a $75 breakroom/cleaning order (which includes paper towels)–one for in-store purchases and one for online purchases. The in-store coupon rings up for $25 for some reason; I haven’t tried the online coupon yet.

If you happen to be in the store, keep an eye out for the paper towels and toilet paper that have been marked down from $12 to $8–those are great values as well with the coupon. I’ve stocked up. :-)

Is it pretty easy to get the Ink card if you don’t have a business? I mean I guess people can say they have an eBay business or something similar. How serious does Chase use the application since it contains a whole section on your “business”.

Small? I thought it was in the $100+ range

Dale–I don’t advocate lying on a credit application, but yes, it’s pretty easy. Even if you don’t have a business but want to start one, you can get the card.
