“Adventures After Dark”, a high definition (HD) timelapse video filmed during a ski hike to the top of the alps. It was filmed by Christoph Malin who highlights the views of the surrounding sky and towns around Innsbruck, Austria. Basically hike up to the top of a mountain, film a timelapse HD video, spend the night and ski down in the morning.

The video is set after hours during sunset and through the night. The music and quality is perfect to glimpse into the night views around Austria. The entire video was shot on a Nikon D7000 with just about over about an hour of scenes condensed into this video.

The best way to watch this video is in fullscreen HD with the sound on. So if you have time put on a noise canceling headset, turn on the HD (give time to let the video load if you don’t have super high speed connection) and relax while enjoying the views of Austria after dark.

Coolest thing, shooting stars that turned out to be a flight paths in the night. Second coolest thing, lights going off or on to the clap sounds in the music.

Ever wonder what it’s like to live in the high mountain areas of Bavaria? Well we have friends that did too. So they packed up and moved to Switzerland. You can check out how living the dream as an Ex Pat really is on their blog “Our Swiss Adventure.”
