  We used this a couple of weeks ago and it is an easy way to have a little larger selection without having to go to the kiosk and asking to change cars. We ended up keeping the car we were assigned but it is nice to have options.
  Our next road trip will be to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park in Utah. That area is spectacular in the winter when there is a little snow!

  I think as long as it doesn’t create any issues with additional fees tacked on to your reservation, it’s a great thing. The convenience is great, but only if it doesn’t create a problem with transparency.

  Assuming that the notification is sent in a timely fashion, like a day prior to rental, sure would assist me. I hvr, for some time already been getting notification of car type/license etc.., but unfortunately the email notification I am getting isusually 1/2 hour prior to my arrival (while I am on the plane with my smartphone tured off).
