So, I already ordered Mrs Weekly Flyer some flowers for Valentine’s Day. But, I’ve received a not so subtle hint that she would love a day at the spa for Valentine’s day. Apparently, “most ladies like a day at the spa,” so here I go back to the drawing board.

Best Deals I’ve Found So Far

Blissworld

Blissworld.com is offering up to 30% BONUS gift card when you spend $500, you get an extra $150 gift card – not bad. Unfortunately, you can’t get bonus points through the Chase or AA portals because both exclude extra points for buying gift cards. Mrs. Weekly Flyer loves Bliss so this is a great savings at 30% and with the $650 spending requirement, this isn’t an inexpensive deal.

As an additional bonus, Bliss has a promotion starting on Valentine’s Day for a gift card good for specific services. You will get a bonus scratch off card that will give you a free product or upgrade. You can buy in smaller denominations and still get a bonus gift card, but you get the biggest bang for your buck at the $500 level.

SpaFinder

Next I checked out deals on Spafinder.com, you can opt for miles over dollar savings with either 10pts/$1  with Delta or 3pts/$1 on American Airlines.

Costco SpaFinder Deal

Costco.com also has SpaFinder gift cards for 20% off, selling 2 $50 gift cards for only $79.99. But, if you are not a Costco member they will hit you with a surcharge. On a $500 gift card purchase, you will have to pay an extra $20 non-member charge. Still a decent deal at 16% savings and SpaFinder gift cards are great because you can use them at many local spas not just one brand.

Bottom Line

Don’t forget, less than 2 weeks to shop for your Valentine.

If you have found any other spa gift certificate deals please leave a comment in this post. Happy Valentine’s day!

You could also book a night at the W and have the Bliss treatment added to the bill so it counts as Travel.

  • Jenny said,

Where are you seeing Spafinder at 10 miles/$ for Delta? I only see 4 miles/$ at the Delta Skymiles Shopping site…
