The Palazzo Las Vegas hotel & resort is among the tallest buildings in Nevada. But that fact doesn’t set it apart. What does set it apart is the fact that the all-suite hotel offers the largest standard accommodations on the Las Vegas strip at 720 square feet with their standard Luxury Suite. I’ve stayed at this property twice and find it offers a convenient location, between the Venetian and the Wynn, and fantastic accommodations.
The Luxury Suite At Palazzo
The Luxury Suite at the Palazzo is spacious at 720 square feet. The room is almost identical to the rooms at the Cove on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. It has a large walk in bathroom with shower and tub, a sunken living room with a pull-out couch, a large bedroom space, and great views of Las Vegas.
When you enter the room, the large bathroom is to the left.
The bedroom is the the higher part of the room. The bed and room furnishings feel high quality. I’ve heard that this hotel does a lot of corporate meetings and has is losing the party crowd. That’s just fine with me because it means nicer rooms, a decent casino and great comps. We have another stay here in a few months where they comped 4 rooms for our entire 3 night stay.

The room service was prompt. One of the least expensive and most tasty items on the menu is the BLT with french fries.
Bottom Line
The Palazzo offers the largest standard accommodation on the Las Vegas Strip. Their proximity on the strip, nearby hotels, and generous comp program offer a compelling story to select this hotel during a trip to Las Vegas.

Not anymore. It wasn’t worth to keep it in my opinion since I didn’t have any stays I could take real advantage of the mini-bar access. In vegas, going to a table can yield the same results of free drinks, although, they are not always free if you lose.

Palazzo is our home when we visit Vegas. My wife and I are “invited guests” and always receive this room. I believe it is a standard suite but it is luxurious. What a great hotel. Btw it is “all suite” like Embassy Suites.

We have been going to Vegas for years and the Palazzo has been our choice for the last several stays. The rooms are great and the casino is very nice. The parking convenient. I am very impressed that you are getting comped 4 rooms for 3 nights. We used to get comped a few years ago quite often but the “free” room offers have dried up. I frequently get good offers from them but not free. Still love it though.

My wife and I are travelling back to Las Vegas this summer for my sister’s wedding and are still looking for a place to stay for the 3 nights. We arent invited guests as of yet. Any advice on getting either free or well priced rooms in early July?

Really not sure how you define “generous combo program” … I visit Vegas around 10x annually, mostly on comp rooms in various properties, and I find that V/P is definitely rather stingy (and definitely the least transparent) in terms of granting comps
For the low end player, definitely CET. Mid end, go for MGM / mLife. High end, WYNN hands down.

@Jason: WYNN/Venetian/Palazzo is rather limited in hard comps if you don’t have an actual loss. Theoretical loss will only get you so far at these casinos.
