If you could earn 5,000 Marriott Rewards points for 1 night, would you do it? If you earn multiple bonuses with this promotion would you continue to stay at Marriott until the promotion is maxed out? Those are just a few questions that we considered when we saw the Marriott Rewards summer bonus.

Marriott is rewarding weekend stays this summer with 5,000 bonus points. You must register by June 30 and stay between June 1 and August 31 to participate. Only stays including a Friday or Saturday night will qualify. The 5,000 bonus per stay can be earned up to three times.

Bottom Line

Better to register than not. Since a 1 night weekend stay qualifies for this promotion I will likely hit this bonus atleast once. This promotion will cause me to evaluate a weekend stay 5,000 point bonus vs a Starwood or Hyatt stay without that bonus.
